Located by a lake and surrounded by forest, Rusałka offers a serene escape from the city's hustle. The menu blends Polish traditions with Italian inspirations, featuring diverse options like classic pierogi, twists on potato dishes with cottage cheese, and wood-fired pizza made with premium Italian ingredients.
Meat lovers can enjoy dishes like goose and Chicken Kiev, while vegetarians and vegans will find thoughtfully crafted plant-based options. Children have their own specially designed menu. On colder days, warm up with mulled wine made from Tempranillo, hot chocolate from real Belgian chocolate, or non-alcoholic mulled pomegranate juice.
Desserts, prepared by a local pastry chef, include cakes and single-serving delights, with additional treats filling the display on weekends. The restaurant also takes orders for custom cakes.
Rusałka is a haven for wine enthusiasts, offering a selection of about 40 labels, mostly European, including Tokaji, orange, and sparkling wines, with around 10 available by the glass. Notably, the sweet Tokaji can also be ordered by the glass—a rare chance to sample this famous wine.
Amenities include parking, bike racks, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. Every two months, the restaurant hosts intimate tasting dinners that invite guests to explore new flavors. Future plans include a greenhouse and garden to enhance its eco-friendly character, already supported by an in-house smokehouse and solar panel installation.
It’s worth noting that Rusałka is not a beach bar despite its lakeside location but a proper restaurant with a casual yet tidy dress code, even in summer. Rusałka is a place where time slows down, and the dishes create lasting memories.
