Museum of Armoured Weapons

The museum tells the history of Polish armor in a coherent and thoughtful way. Four pavilions greet us with the smell of grease mixed with the smell of history, which proves that we are dealing with real military equipment, not just museum reconstructions

We start our tour of the museum from the beginnings of the history of armor, around World War I. Continuing, we travel through the times of World War II and immediately after, through the Cold War at the end of the 20th century to modern times. Each exhibit is described by boards in Polish and English, and in each of the pavilions we will find non-obvious tidbits, such as Steven Spielberg's autograph on the T-55 (the tank played a cameo in his film), a simulation of the control center on the tank, a story about the T-34 with lighting effects or a cross-section of a vehicle used to record scenes inside a tank for the TV series Czterej Pancerni i Pies. For many machines, the exhibition is enriched by mining videos, for example Sd.Kfz 6 from the Warta oxbow lake in Białobrzeg.
