This open-air museum is a collection of bee hives unique on a European scale, which illustrates in its outdoor exhibition the history of apiculture and beekeeping in Poland. The exhibits include interesting hives in the shape of the Poznań City Hall, a village instrumentalist, and a bear. There is also an exhibition on productive insects in Poland and in the world. The museum’s signature event is the August festival under the slogan “Summer of honey in the folk museum” (“Miodowe lato w skansenie”).
