In search of spring: a picturesque white carpet of flowers in a forest ravine
An extensive flower reserve created to protect one of the few sites of occurance of spring snowake, a plant mostly seen in the Sudety mountains. In early spring, the blooming spring snowflakes create a beautiful white carpet. On the occasion of a visit to the reserve, you can visit the picturesque medieval settlement situated nearby by the Warta River, known as Ostrów Radzimski. Note: the reserve is located in the Biedrusko military training ground; before coming, make sure that the area is available for visiting.
