Regional Tasting Menus in Poznań Restaurants
During the summer months of July and August, Poznań transforms into the culinary heart of the region with a special project showcasing tasting menus inspired by Polish cuisine and Greater Poland’s culinary heritage.
Selected restaurants will offer 3 to 5-course tasting menus highlighting regional ingredients and traditional dishes – presented in both classic and creative interpretations. Expect to taste reimagined versions of duck, goose, potatoes (pyry), potato pancakes (plyndze), gnocchi-style szagówki, or the iconic St. Martin’s croissant.
Each venue sets its own pricing and reservation rules – while some require booking, others may serve the menu without prior reservation. The aim of the event is to promote local gastronomy and make high-quality Polish cuisine more accessible to tourists during the holidays.
If the project resonates with guests, it may be extended beyond the summer season.
