Papavero

Papavero is an establishment with more than 20 years of tradition and for years functioned as an Italian restaurant. It is an example of a place which sets its menu and direction of development based on the expectations of its loyal diners. The restaurant received a MICHELIN GUIDE 2023 recommendation.

Poles have taken a liking to Italian cuisine in addition to Polish home cooking. Papavero is one of many places where freely interpreted Polish cuisine appears as a complement to the restaurant's main profile. The menu is rounded off by a wide selection of wines. Meats and sauces, especially venison, deserve a special mention on Papavero's menu. Papavero was the first and for many years the only restaurant in Poznan to serve venison according to traditional Italian recipes. For Poles, who associate Italian cuisine mainly with pasta and pizza, this was a real surprise and a valuable culinary lesson. To this day, venison is one of the restaurant's greatest assets, in whatever way it is prepared.

Papavero is also appreciated for its decor and friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff have a good rapport with customers and pay attention to the expectations of regular diners. The interior combines traditional elegance with a touch of modernity, making the premises very cosy
