The history of the mill goes as far back as 1905. Most likely, it was built by the miller Griebsch. The construction of this windmill is the only one of its kind in Wielkopolska; it is a wooden smock mill, octagonal in plan, equipped with a steam engine for use on windless days. The entire mill machinery was made of the exotic lignum vitae wood, with hemp and camel wool ropes. Now, the windmill houses an exhibit devoted to traditional milling.
