In recent years, winters haven’t been very generous with snow, but when a day finally comes with a satisfactory layer of it, question arise in many minds: where can I go cross-country skiing?
The first place definitely worth visiting with your skis on is the Wielkopolski National Park. It features marked loops with a total length of 55 kilometers known as the "Active Three" (Aktywna Trójka) - a network of trails designed for running, Nordic walking, and skiing.
Another, perhaps less obvious destination, is the Puszcza Zielonka. While it lacks officially marked or groomed ski tracks, the existing hiking trails are suitable for more agile and experienced skiers. For them, we recommend routes through Dziewicza Góra and Ludwikowo or around Lake Stęszewskie.
