Bamberka

Bamberka Restaurant is located in the very centre of Poznań’s Old Market Square, right next to the Bamberka Well. Established in 1972, it offers Greater Poland cuisine based on regional products, traditional recipes and local flavours.
Situated by the Bamberka Well, the restaurant naturally becomes part of the Old Market Square’s everyday atmosphere. The interior is classic and inspired by Poznań’s Bambers heritage, creating a comfortable space for relaxed dining. The menu focuses on Polish and Greater Poland cuisine, highlighting regional ingredients. You will find dishes such as Bamber-style lard, Old Polish bigos served in bread, pyra with cottage cheese or potato noodles with cabbage and bacon. Main courses include duck leg with red cabbage and yeast dumplings, roasted goose breast, stuffed trout and chicken liver with apples. Desserts are based on traditional homemade recipes. Even if you are not hungry, you can stop by for a regional beer or other Polish spirits. During the summer season, an outdoor garden is available, allowing guests to sit right on the Old Market Square.
