Porta Posnania is the first center for heritage interpretation in Poland, modelled on similar institutions operating around the world. It serves as a link between the exhibition, which allows the visitors to discover an important historical site, the Cathedral Island in Poznań, directly with the place itself.

Throughout the year they organize many events, including workshops, temporary exhibitions, concerts, activities for children and adults and academic conferences. They are inspired not only by the history of the Cathedral Island, but also by the amazing wealth of its nature. Porta Posnania is thus also a meeting place by the river, where you can relax and take a breather.

  • a conference room with a view of the Cathedral Island and Cathedral Ostrów Tumski, accommodating up to 100 people (in a theatrical
chair arrangement), with the possibility to divide the room into two smaller ones and one very small one (up to a few people)
  • a terrace on the roof of the building with a view of Cathedral Island and the Cathedral
  • an amphitheater adjacent to the building located on the Cybina River.
