For many, a must-see is the monumental mural in Śródka, which tells the story of Poznań bygone days, but the greatest number of works can be seen in the city's historic center. Old advertisements and interesting examples of typography are reminders of the past, recognizable to observant strollers. Neon signs - both historical and contemporary - captivate the city's modernist heritage. Sometimes street art takes on a new, unexpected dimension, as in the case of Noriaki's "The Watcher" which appeared as a... sculpture.
Another area famous for street art is Jeżyce, where colorful murals on the walls of tenement houses fit well with the district's character. Many murals can be found on the streets of Łazarz and Wilda, but interesting designs adorn walls throughout the city. It's also worth crossing Poznań's borders to look for interesting murals in neighboring municipalities – Luboń and Śrem are the first places to visit.
