Cathedral Island
Poznan’s Cathedral Island was once one of the most important strongholds of the emerging Polish state. A key point on the Piast Trail, it features relics of the first Polish cathedral, remnants of defensive ramparts, an installation showcasing Mieszko I’s Palatium, and the probable site of his baptism.
