Poznań is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Polish and international tourists, with a record number of visitors in 2023. - We observe constant interest in the Poznań agglomeration, which translates into online interest. Additionally, 80% of our portal visitors come from mobile devices - says Jan Mazurczak, CEO of the PTO. The previous version of the portal poznan.travel was created over ten years ago and required significant changes in aesthetics, functionality, user interface, security, operational stability, legal requirements, the scope of collected information, presentation methods, adaptation to mobile devices, and accessibility for individuals with special needs.

The new service has been given the name VisitPoznan.pl and provides both practical information and descriptions of the key attractions in the city and its surroundings, available in both Polish and English. The site includes original content and compilations attractive to tourists, such as the top 10 things to do in Poznań. In the same virtual space, there is also information about business tourism and the activities of the Poznań Convention Bureau, as well as free publications and information about the organization itself.

The Visit Poznań tourist portal was created as part of a public task entitled "Modern tourist portal for the Poznań brand (Polish Tourist Brand): updating, modernization, and popularization of the online tool for promotion and tourist information," co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism according to agreement No. 2023/0084/2310/UDOT/DT/BP dated June 27, 2023.

An important part of the project carried out in 2023 by PTO was the execution of photo sessions and video clips. - Thanks to this, about seventy places and attractions in Poznań and its surroundings were documented, and the materials will be used by PTO both on the visitpoznan.pl portal and in tourist promotion - adds Piotr Basiński, the project manager for the Visit Poznań portal.
