Poznań and the surrounding towns offer many possibilities in this regard - from classic relaxation and sunbathing on a blanket, through great concerts by the water, to open-air movie sessions.

Beaches

Seeking respite from the heat, it is worth visiting the beaches located both in Poznań itself and in its immediate vicinity. Within the city, Lake Rusałka or Lake Strzeszyńskie make for an excellent destination. Heading just outside the city limits, we can confidently go to Potrzanowo, Zborowo, Kórnik, or Owińska, where well-prepared bathing areas also await us. Other beaches that additionally offer recreational spaces include the beach at Lake Biezdruchowskie in the Pobiedziska municipality, the one at Lake Lusowskie in the Tarnowo Podgórne municipality, as well as the municipal beach in Śrem at Lake Grzymisławskie.

And what if you could combine pleasure with... even more pleasure? This is possible on the beaches of Lake Rusałka and Lake Strzeszyńskie. Regular summer concerts under the banner of Scena nad Rusałką with the variety of invited artists means that everyone will find something for themselves. Meanwhile, performances as part of the Na Falach initiative take place by the latter body of water. In this case, there are slightly fewer events, but the invited musicians are truly top-tier artists.

Outdoor cinemas

Who doesn't like to relax while watching a great movie? Summer outdoor cinemas allow you to enjoy this pleasure with a nice addition, which is watching movies under the open sky. There are truly plenty of options here. In the middle of the week, the Imperial Castle invites you to Plenerowe Pałacowe, on Fridays Kino na Wolnym is available at Kolegiacki Square, and moreover, outdoor screenings are also offered by the terrace of Galeria MM, or more precisely, the Na Tarasie venue. Outside Poznań, Dwór Skrzynki also organizes its own screenings. You can also catch a movie on the beach by the Warta River in Luboń. The repertoires of all these places abound in well-known and award-winning productions, guaranteeing cinema enthusiasts excellent entertainment for summer evenings.
